XÂY DỰNG THANG ĐIỂM BREAST-Q PHIÊN BẢN TIẾNG VIỆT ĐÁNH GIÁ KẾT QUẢ PHẪU THUẬT UNG THƯ VÚ
DEVELOPMENT OF VIETNAMESE VERSION OF BREAST-Q SCALE TO EVALUATE OUTCOMES AFTER BREAST CANCER SURGERY
Mục tiêu: Thang điểm BREAST-Q được sử dụng để đánh giá chất lượng sống và mức độ hài lòng của người bệnh sau phẫu thuật vú. Mục tiêu của nghiên cứu là biên dịch và xác thực ngôn ngữ thang điểm BREAST-Q để áp dụng cho bệnh nhân ung thư vú tại Việt Nam.
Đối tượng và phương pháp nghiên cứu: Phiên bản Tiếng Việt được phát triển qua các bước: dịch xuôi từ Tiếng Anh sang Tiếng Việt, dịch ngược lại từ bản Tiếng Việt sang tiếng Anh, so sánh bản dịch ngược với bản gốc Tiếng Anh, và phỏng vấn tóm tắt nhận thức theo hướng dẫn biên dịch và điều chỉnh văn hóa cho các bộ câu hỏi Q-Porfolio. Mục đích là đạt được phiên bản Tiếng Việt tương đương về mặt khái niệm bằng cách sử dụng các từ ngữ thông dụng hơn là tạo ra một bản dịch theo nghĩa đen đơn thuần.
Kết quả: Đạt được phiên bản BREAST-Q Tiếng Việt tương đương về khái niệm, quá trình phỏng vấn cho thấy nội dụng của thang điểm có tính phù hợp cao.
Kết luận: Bộ câu hỏi BREAST-Q phiên bản Tiếng Việt đã sẵn sàng để đánh giá chất lượng sống và mức độ hài lòng của bệnh nhân sau phẫu thuật ung thư vú tại Việt Nam. Có thể sử dụng BREAST-Q trong thực hành lâm sàng hoặc nghiên cứu khoa học, sử dụng riêng lẻ từng thang điểm hoặc nhóm một số thang điểm trong bộ câu hỏi. Dữ liệu được thu thập từ bộ câu hỏi BREAST-Q có thể cung cấp những thông tin giá trị cho phẫu thuật viên trong tư vấn bệnh nhân trước phẫu thuật.
Abstract
INTRODUCTION: The BREAST-Q questionnaire measures quality of life and satisfaction of patients undergoing breast surgery. The aim of this work was to translate and linguistically validate BREAST-Q modules for use in Vietnam.
METHODS: The Vietnamese version of the BREAST-Q was developed through forward translation, back translation, back translation review and cognitive debriefing following the guideline for Translation and Cultural Adaptation of the Q-Portfolio Questionnaires and Q-portfolio Team. The aim was to achieve a conceptually equivalent Vietnamese version using colloquial language rather than undertaking a simple literal translation.
RESULTS: A conceptually equivalent Vietnamese version of BREAST-Q modules was achieved. The cognitive debriefing revealed good content validity.
CONCLUSIONS: The BREAST-Q can now be used for patients undergoing breast cancer surgery in Vietnam to measure patient quality of life and patient satisfaction. The BREAST-Q may be used for both individual and group measurements in clinical and research settings. Data collection with BREAST-Q can provide valuable information for use in clinical counseling of women undergoing breast cancer surgery.
