Abstract

Large-cell neuroendocrine carcinoma of unknown primary origin is a rare entity with limited data, primarily from retrospective analyses or case reports. We herein present the case of a 71-year-old female with stage IV disease and extensive nodal involvement. After limited success with Etoposide-Carboplatin and then FOLFIRI, the patient achieved a remarkable clinical and radiological response to Temozolomide. Through this case, we summarized key clinical, paraclinical, and treatment outcome data from the literature.
